Easy Model 1:72 Stryker ICV

Post by lightning2000 » Tue Apr 15, 2008 9:43 am

Hi All,
Looks as though Easy Model is getting set to release some new 1:72 scale vehicles including their first M1126 Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle. No image of the finished product has been posted yet, so we're just working from their line art drawing for now.

Hi,
Yeah, the Leopold is a fabulous piece and I'm glad they brought it back, even if its for a short duration. Lots of detail at a great price vis a vis the Dragon 1:72 armor.

I also asked Dragon why they seemed to have halted production on the pre-painted Can.Do 1:35 scale figures. US infantrymen and tankers, Russian troops, Brits, Japanese, all would be naturals. I think it has a lot to do with the labor crisis in the Orient. Its easier for a company to crank out model kits with the pieces still on the sprews than it is to have someone sit there and paint up the figs, if they are indeed handpainted. I think that even if they had to push up the wholesale cost a bit, there's an eager market waiting for them. Guess we'll see...
