Booth would be fantastic,I chose the Hetzer because of my love for anything German in WWII,but would eagerly buy many Japanese tanks in 1/18,the WWII 1/18 Pacific war is sadly lacking items.

Ah forget the Japanese  It's euro theater all the way 8) Germans had the Coolest tanks, vehicles and planes. Seems most of the Japanese stuff was gear for Suicide esp. toward the end of the war  Don't make sense to kill yourself and if you did who on your side would run things ??? Da General

Well I'm sorry Red, I didn't mean to get you upset

Actually, the manufacturers need to get off their tails and start producing new stock of all types, theaters, etc. But then what have we all seen in the last year ??? Not much, right ??? All these big announcements, but little product has shown up in 1/18th. Like where's the KTs ??? 88s ??? New DAK artillary spotters ??? German riflemen??? etc. I thought there was suppose to be new planes too  What is the big slow down about ??? Where is what we were promised ???

Hey how about this, why don't they make some kits(pre-painted would be nice) and WE can put them together ourselves if that helps speed the process up ;) Actually, it'd be great for us custom folks who can add interiors to tanks without it. Just a 2 cents worth :) Da General

its tiny

Post by ARMY GROUP 1 » Sun Apr 13, 2008 2:23 pm

I was looking at my 1/32 Hetzer comparing it next to my 1/32 KT and thinking how tiny and basic is this tank, which should make it a cost effective tooling project for 21ST to make it in 1/18, not sure though that it would have the 'wow' factor, but i would still like column of these small tanks anyway.

Argeed on the Russian stuff Red :)
Heck, I think I may have a couple guys around here and perhaps a 2 tone USMC tank here myself. I have a Jap guy too, but he's being converted to a Mr. Sulu to go with my 1/18th ST stuff  Da General

Tough decision. I'm quite fond of the hetzer, but my vote actually goes to the Type 97. My Japanese troops need some armor. There would also be the potential for a tad bit more detail, plus a rotating turret

I am about the Chi-ha as well. The PTO has been sorely overlooked by 21st.
