Internethobbies.com recommendation?

Post by dragon53 » Sat Apr 12, 2008 4:40 pm

Has anyone ever bought from Internethobbies.com?

If so, would you recommend them?

I have never used them before... and probably never will. They're too expensive for my taste.

For instance, they were asking $32 for a 1:32 21st Century Airplane.
That's ridiculously expensive.

RAD 2112:

I agree that $32 is too expensive for a 21st Century 1/32 plane---but I'm looking for a 21st Century 1/32 P-47 and they're the only ones who have it in stock (according to their website).

Now you got me on a quest...

This is the only place that didn't say "Sold Out":
P-47 Bubbletop Thunderbolt ("Eileen") 1:32 Scale
Price $21.99 (Shipping $7.95)

I hope they have it for you.

It's been a long time, but I used to deal with these guys frequently in the days when I used to actually build models. I have not purchased anything from them in years, but they always gave me prompt reliable service in the past, and I see no reason why that would not still be the case. The best place to get a recent opinion on these guys would probably be one the kit builders modeling sites like Armorama.

Thanks, but I already contacted autographsfromhistory.com weeks ago---they're sold out and never updated their website.

CABE:

Thanks for the links.

I think the Dynamichobbiesonline.com P-47 Eileen is the 1/18 version which has defects---no antenna or gunsight.

I also saw the 1/32 Eileen on Toynswords.com several weeks ago, but I know nothing about them and was wary of buying from them. I emailed several online dealers about the P-47 and some never replied---Toysnswords.com may have been one of them.

I'll post a different thread asking about Toysnswords.com's reputation.

Thanks again.
