This doesn't make sense.

O.K. so I was checking out the TRU website and found this.

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... Id=3064265

Now it's listed as 1/48 but the aircraft shown is quite clearly 1/32. My dilemma is this. If it is 1/32 for $9.99 it is a steal, but if it is 1/48, I don't want it. What do you guys think?

21st also makes Bald Eagle in 1/48 scale and TRU probably doesn't know the difference so they used the wrong pic.. You can order it, but I bet you get the 1/48 version..

Says 1:32 on the box but some of the folks at TRU aren't to swift. They probably didn't have a pic of the 1:48 version and figured nobody would notice the difference.

Yeah, a mistake is all it is. Happens all the time, and unfortunately just causes stress in collectors like ourselves.

Yeah, it figures. I just saw it and thought it was a good deal. I just wasn't sure if they made a Bald Eagle in 1/48. I collect 1/18 and 1/32 almost exclusively so I don't pay much attention to 1/48. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

They just sell things. They don't pay real close attention to anything other than what it cost them, and what they are selling it for.
