1/32 figure sets: US and German Mortar teams

Post by olifant » Sun Apr 06, 2008 6:32 pm

Today at WM I say the US and German mortar teams without the foxhole/sandbags. They came three to a pack like the DAK and Italian infantry. Is this something new or did I miss the news before?

I picked up the US set but I already have plenty of Kraut 81MMs, plus the Germans had been painted with an almost white color for their faces. They looked terrible. :?

Yeah, my dad jsut got back from a business trip across the border and he brought home these. Never seen 'em come like this before and I agree with your thoughts about the Germans. I think they need a spell in North Africa to get rid of that pastyness.

Sounds like they are new. Why they couldn't be something more original is beyond me. My local Wal Marts got tons of the various incarnations of the mortar pit playsets and figures over the course of last year. Come on, 21c, bring on the newer items - especially somewhere besides the eastern portion of the US
