Can't Find

Post by NHoggard12 » Fri Apr 04, 2008 4:14 am

I can't find the FOV 1/32 t72 tank of the Republican Guards unit (at least for a resonable price). Has anyone found one or interested in selling one.
thanks

I believe this is what you are looking for...

I've dealt with these guys before, and never had any problems. I don't know what you would consider a reasonable price, but this seems on par with what other online retailers are asking for other 1:32 FOV vehicles. I don't see any up at ebay at the present time, these seem to be getting somewhat scarce, nothing like the M26 Pershing mind you, but they don't seem to be readily available either. Unless you can find one cheaper elsewhere, the foxhole model (assuming they have it in stock) would appear to be a pretty good deal. Good luck.

Here is my secret FoV seller from Austin TX
Goes by the name Dob or Darryl O'Brien.
Nice guy, He will work deals and refuses to raise his prices even when confronted by other dealers saying he is ruining the market.
But Dob is a collector too and refuses to sell his stock at inflated prices.

He has your tank for $31
emailing him or making phone order and you can sometimes work a deal with him on multi items.

That's definitely a good price Cabe, if it's in stock and he can get it for that, I would say go for it. 8)

Dob has always been pretty good about updating his inventory, believe me , when I first found his site by accident (since it doesn't show up in FoV searches in google ect. Plus it Dob's Diecast Planes which would make me skip over it as I am looking for tanks) so I don't even remember how I found his sight
I saw his inventory and panicked for my paycheck because he had all the missing OOP and rare tanks in stock, or so his website said. So I called him and hd a long conversation about collecting, his prices and inventory.
In one order I pretty much completed my tiger tank collection for FoV (both the regular and king) plus got the rest of my SPW 251series by finding my cannon wagons and the Normandy one with the assaulting troops, I think he had to ship 2 big boxes full of stugs, 250's, tiger's and king tigers (it was like Santa came to the door) and I only spent around $250 with shipping. Nowadays at another online store, what I ordered that day would have totaled more around $500, and that's not even adding in the cost that would incur due to them being OOP.
Told him I was amazed at what he had in stock and the price and he told me I should have discovered him a week earlier because he ws loaded with rare tanks and since then a group of collectors had discovered his site and took a bunch of ones I needed beyond the 8 or so he had still in stock
