What plane are you profiling? You can popst pics w/ the "image" button.
There is a version of a 6. Staffel, II./JG6 w/ white outline here:

It is called "Black 12" but I must say the numbers do kinda look dark blue....Anyway same tail number once again....

Well I don't know how to take the text and images from My Documents and insert them into this reply but this is relatively new info and color photos and text explaining the misconception of WK#500570 being a black 12 so I guess we're at a stand still until it is figured out how to done......... ululatus rebellis sum reverenter tuus....... Johnny,Johnny Reb wrote:Well I beg to differ II.JG6/6.Staffel had black numbers no white outlines-- II.JG6/8.Staffel had darker than normal blue with white outlines. I can show you this new info and color photos if this board would allow inserting graphics into these replies, anywho if ya want to see this newer info and pics I can send them to you thru a personal email but I think yer convinced yer correct and know I'm correct, no disrespect just newer info on this particular bird. JR
I think the reason there is dispute here is that "Black 12" is the accepted version of this plane.. However, If you have new info regarding this, I would Love to see it.. You can PM me with the address, or email me..
Thanks,
Harry

Accepted version does not mean correct no matter who profiles the aircraft. The info I've sent should once and for all clear this matter up and should be posted by you{since I don't know how as of yet} for all to see that the FW 190 D-9 WK#500570 is indeed a Blue 12. Don't want to seem cocky but sometimes ya just have to keep after sumthin' when ya think that there is an oddity and not just accept the status quo.......... ululatus rebellis sum semper paratus semper sum......... Speaking of profiles, I found the correct profile for the RAF Tomahawk:

I reviewed JohnnyRebs info, which I agree with.. The color differences between the Black Balkenruze and the number would clearly make the numbers on "Black12" actually a Dark blue.. So 21st's initial determination was correct, but the fact is, they made the numbers Black, and that's what we have to live with.. Which this is still may favorite version of the D9 regerdless of the accuracy problem..
