New diorama, for a FoV pershing hand made

Post by Cabe » Tue Mar 18, 2008 3:37 am

here is a commission work for a guy who wanted a diorama for his forces of valor pershing. It is for a set of 2, the second is for the newest fov halftrack with soldiers and will be a continuation of the street.

This is the first time I have ever dealt with cement, masonry, brick or man made structures of any kind, so it was sort of a "wing it" diorama. I like how it came out. and wish I could keep it, but it isn't mine :( it's already paid for.

I was handcuffed by the buyer's
wishes that it must be only so tall to allow it to be in his case, so the buildings and trees were left small.

I didn't do anything to my pershing to incorporate it into the diorama, but I am sending him a baggy of bricks and rubble dust to put on his tank to tie it all into the action, it will look much better then

IMO that's your best diorama to date. Hope next time we have a diorama contest, I organized a big one back in the summer, you won't enter in the 32x catergory because the rest of us won't have a chance of winning

oh i don't know. You would probably be surprised what the response would be if you think mine would "turn the heat up".
