pretty freaking cool. another tank I won't be able to find. YAY
http://www.themotorpool.net/German-Jagd ... 9415s2.htm
I am definitely going mail order from here on out and save my gas money
The joy of the hunt has been absolutely beaten out of me.
I do not want to walk into another toy R Us
round the counters to the far side of the store, enter the toy section and see the 21st C collection and all the grren boxes. As my eyes become perpendicular to the plastic front and the glare angles away away . I look expectantly into all the little plastic wingows to see.......20 long toms and 18 or so Jagdtigers, 2 FoV winter haftracks and the 2 tone sherman
repeat scene for 30 or so Wal-marts I have visited at least 3 times some even more than 20 times
Just change the kind of visual dissapointment
I am just not doing it anymore. They shipped, it seems, to everyone's town but Dallas.

Went into TRU today. They are doing some kind of special inventory and getting rid of all old merchandise. Not selling it cheap, no sir they are throwing it away or sending it back. Nobody knows when things will be restocked and return to normal either. Why even bother staying open, when there is nothing to buy on the shelves? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgh!

I dunno, the S2 paint schemes on the Hetzer and Marder just don't do it for me...I think they look fugly...Not sure these will find a way into my collection, I might have to see them in person to decide.
Having the same TRU/Wal-Mart problems as everyone else it seems, I am just resigning myself to purchase the bulk of my items via on-line retailers like FetCo, BadCat, Small Joes, etc. Besides helping out the little guy (which I like), it does save on time and now with gas hitting astronomical prices, gas money. I tend to buy at least 3 pieces at a time to justify the shipping, and if done so, it probably is a wash or even a bit cheaper then doing the "drive and hunt only to come up empty" routine, not to mention the time involved.
I will still check shelves of places when I happen to be in the stores, but I think my days of making special trips specifically for military vehicle purchases are pretty much over.
