the price on this thing has to be a scam. Who, that knows anything about jagdpanthers, would bid at all on this monstrosity, let alone over $200??

Must be schill bids the seller has made to try and encourage other bids.....since the reserve hasnt been met he won't have to pay final value fees, so he has nothing to lose, except his self resptect, which i gotta figure he lost long ago anyway...

Hey Guy's,
I know we all have had a good laugh about this "thing" on e-bay, or i know i have had a hell-of-a laugh myself, some of ya'll are too funny, But lets get serious for a minute and correct me if i'm wrong, but to the best of my knowledge, (WooferCustoms)-Me and (gkutcher)-Gary are the only people that have ever listed 1/18 Jagdpanthers on e-bay, Has there been anyone else? Did i miss one somewhere? Please Let me know if i did.
I can't speak for Gary but i'm sure he would agree, Scratch building is a pain in the Azz, It's really hard work, Time consuming, It involve's Research,Careful planning, and most of all patience, Some of the best customizers i have ever seen are here on this form, so you guys know what i'm talking about, Pickelhaube and i struggled to build our first Jadgpanther, and i know Gary did also on his first one, When i first saw this auction my first responce was WTF is this, I laughed and blew it off, But a couple of day later i went back and read his listing word for word, He said that " Quote" YOU MAY FIND COPYS OF MY PARTS, (WHICH I HAND CAST)ON EBAY OR COMPLETE TANKS. HERES YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A GENUINE ONE. Now you tell me guys-and correct me if i'm wrong--Is he saying that We (Gary and I)--Actually Gary more than me because he listed Jagdpanther kits also, Copyied his work or used his parts for our customs----Is this what he is saying????------If i'm right i consider this to be a SLAP in the Face-------What do you think?

Sounds like that's what he's indeed implying. Obvious truth be told, that dude has been copying you guys from the get-go. The guy's unreal.

Wasn't this the same guy who sold some odd looking Sturmtigers a while back? Seems like he has been discussed on another thread at some point.

::edit:: Found the thread.. I think this is the same fellow.

Yeah but Woofer, have you ever sold any of your work to Berlin?

I wouldn't worry about the implied slight. This guy can't touch your work and everyone, repeat everyone knows that. 8)

Well, It Really does not bother me that someone copy's my work, That's been going on since the 80's, I once built a "toy" vehicle and took it from Mississippi all the way to the west coast to a big modeling show and competition-----My model took all the awards----All the money---All the prizes-- ( It won -not because it was so good- but because it was so different, and in a scale no one had ever done before ) there were people from all over the World competing---after the show i was contacted by some people who were very interested in my model, So being the Dummy i was back then i let them take it, A few months later i got my model back in "pieces" with a letter explaining that they had considered it but had decided not to use (Copy) it, so i thought it was over--No big deal---Untill months later when my model was on the shelves of every toy store in the country made by the same people who had "decided not to use it" I'm not going to pour Gas on a Fire that has long burned out 25 years ago, It not important what the model was or who the people were, It was a matter of Principal, Intergrity, honesty and moral value, We got face it --some people just don't have these Values, And to put the iceing on the cake i basically let the same Dam thing happen again with another company 10 years later on another item i created---so sometime's i look in a mirror and say to myself---you are the Dummest SOB that ever walked the face of the Earth---But what i do have is Principal, Intergrity, honesty and moral value, Keep in mind all this was before e-bay and computer technology set in, since then i have helped others here and there with customs telling them how i done this or that giving up little trade secrets, and then one day i look on e-bay and their auctions Look like mine--The item--the words--the color--everything looks like mine, To a degree i'm flattered by this so it's no big deal, I can live with it, --I will help anyone of you with anything i can, just don't use my help against me, is all i ask. But to imply in a auction for the hole world to see that we-or I have been copying or using his stuff for our work (Even though i know that everyone knows better) it still upsets me as you can tell, I don't mean to ramble on but if i'm going to belong and be involved with this form i feel that you guy's should know how i feel and why i kinda keep my guard up.

Hun,
Not only are you a true artist, but you are an artist with principle and integrity! The best form of flattery is to be copied! You have achieved all that and your work is fantastic. I enjoy seeing your dioramas on ebay, not just the item for sale! True art!
I promote you to GOD level! :)

Thanks for the kind words, a while back i bought a Big 12x20 tent at Sams, and i set up my Diorama's and do my photos in it, I have just as much fun setting them up and taking the photos as i do building a model, people e-mail me all the time about my Auction photos.
