British sharkmouth P-51D
I got one of the new British Sharkmouth P-51Ds today from FieroDude, and this plane is a beauty. Anyone else have an opinion on this plane? Great choice 21st Century.

Thanks for the pics Sabrefan/CM! I am really looking forward to getting this, but I think I prefer the Polish C model myself. I bought the Miss Bonnie and it is a huge improvement over the S1 Mustang, but somehow I like the B/C releases better. I can't put a finger on why though.

What a nifty scheme!!! This, too, is a must.Sabrefan wrote:I got one of the new British Sharkmouth P-51Ds today from FieroDude, and this plane is a beauty. Anyone else have an opinion on this plane? Great choice 21st Century.

I found and bought the RAF Shark Mouth P-51 and the Red 19 FW-190A today at two different WalMarts. A lucky day and two perfect birds! The Shark Mouth Mustang is very sharp as is the 190. I couldn't pick one as a favorite if I had to! Great to finally have a new tool bubble top P-51D and a 190A!!

Huge difference. The S1 Mustang had thick wings, cartoonish gear doors, very simple cockpit and pilot and large to scale dinner plate size rivets.
Think of the difference between a child's toy and a pro-built scale model.

Yeah I had the original 32x BBD until recently. Very much a toy.olifant wrote:\iflabs wrote:What is different with this "new mold" on the P-51Ds?
