Great news Patrick. I'm looking forward to the Corsair headed my way as well as any future offerings you may have.

* 1:18 Royal Navy Corsair ( ? )

Post by MG-42 » Tue Feb 19, 2008 10:27 pm

* I'd be interested in the option to send you one of my Corsair's to do as well.

* Seems like a great idea too. Economically speaking.

Huh,
Well I don't know what happened here, but someone was not happy  It looks like an intresting topic, but all the posts by the poster have been deleted. So I am lost at what the actual thread was about. Oh well, I guess we may never know :? Da General

probably some sort of legal problem to sort out......hopefully all will be well in time. I'd hate to see a huge company like BBI squish a small customizer like this...it would be shameful.

I guess they have lawyers with idle hands....and we all know what a danger that is.

FYI Guys, more planes will be available on our site soon. I'll post a heads up here.

We will be using BBI planes exclusively for our aftermarket customizations.

I'm sure there are a lot of questions you'd like to ask. What I can say is that BBI has been great!

I have to watch what I say on the forums since those that have an issue with competition, no matter how small, will be monitoring our posts.

On to more productive comments, we have modified our processes to take care of the previous markings. The feedback is good. It helps us produce a better product.

You can send us feed back via email or through PM's here on the forums.

Thanks!

Welcome back!!

I've received your PTO RN Corsair in great shape. It's now in my Pride of Place. Much Thanks.

You showed great care in this from your choice in the base model, (BBI's is arguably the best for accuracy and detail in 1/18 ) through shipping (man, even including the original assembly instructions with it!! The included rockets now reside on my Hellcat)

This has been, to me, a long awaited but not expected scheme. Thanks to you and BBI for making it available!!

I very much look forward to your future offerings!!

Welcome back, once again!!

I agree with Jackson...using some german models by 21C would be absolutely necessary, IMO.

Without reading to much into it...but...me thinks this is a chance for BBi to catch up on some sales. Airstrike still has to buy from BBi, and BBi get a new repaint out of it. Besides, it's not like 21st doesnt have enough repaints of their own. It is a pity that we won't see aircraft from the 21st range but it's good to see an "aftermarket tuner" chosing one of the smaller product ranges to expand on. I hope this means we'll start to see the growth in detail sets for items like engines, undercarriages a'la Verlinden products. I still want a Rolls Royce merlin for my Mustang

Thanks. We hope that we will continue to make this a successful aftermarket business. As I mentioned before, BBI has been great and we love their products, which is why we selected theirs for our first series.

Its Airstrike Toys intent to provide a unique variety to the 1:18 scale market and limiting ourselves to 1 manufacturer does limit our scope but this was not by our choice. The other manufacturers have stated their position and we will respect their wishes.

We are always evaluating options and if a viable opportunity is identified, we will work hard to provide all of you with the aircraft versions you want.

Thanks.
