I do XD, but I used to hang the 1/48 scale airplanes I would build from my classroom ceiling. Then, 32x had more and more airframes, and my time to build models decreases steadily. I can't have competing scales. So, I switched over to 100% 32x for the classroom ceiling. As far as ground goes, I have very little 32x--just what people have given me as gifts.
I have to admit that it is nice to feed the plane addiction with a little shot of 32x inbetween XD releases. To tell the truth, I looked forward to the FOV P-39 more than the XD Nachtjaeger.

True that 1 32nd has more items, but remember, their figures are NOT poseable
Only time will tell what Armour will come out in 1 18th
Then there are collectors like me that CAN'T wait and start building our own models. And it doesn't stop there either
I have custom figures with different heads, different painted uniforms, etc.
Oh the insanity of it all, BUT I enjoy it. Hmmm, what a pain in the aski it would be to change heads on 1 32nd or even better, paint /change the color of hair, add facial details to 1 32nd
I think I'd need a second set of glasses or maybe a third eye to squint that much
Or the pain of the thought, I think I'm in the RIGHT scale

Unposeable figures is what's kept me out of 1:32. Sure, there's ALOT MORE of 32 on the shelves and all looks cool, but when it comes to the 'statue' figures, I walk away. As a kid I had BAGS of the 'little green' soldiers-that's all we had to buy (exception being the 12" Joes) but can you imagine if we also had a choice of getting poseable 1:18 figures back then? There would've been no question which ones I'd have wanted my parents to buy me.
Hmmm...do you think 21C might NOT be attempting to 'articulate' the 32 figures because if they did...1:18 would die? Betcha these questions happened when the model RR companies came out with HO, then N and now Z scale...but ALL these scales including O and the Garden scales are all alive!
.
Well, 0bviously, collect 18th AC and Armor- any and all. Find yourself collecting 1/32 only because you've already got the current 1/18th stuff. Get the 1/48th AC, but pass on the armor for whatever reason. Get the 1/144th AC and Armor because.............um...........because um.......
Anything in 1/32nd, I just stick with 21st- or it would truly be a bottomless pit

This thread is starting to get funny to me. Where is it written that we have to chose EITHER 32nd or 18th scale. I collect both, and I for one am happy that I have that option. There are great models in both scales, and I have shelves full to prove it. Collect what you want, but why say over and over I will ONLY collect one certain scale.

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game.

LOLL...1:32 envy rears it's ugly head....one of the biggest bear traps that you can find. There is the possobility that you may have to go to an antique store to get one. Get it , open it up and put that dirty little 1/32 on top of it. Problem solved. You could possible adjust the spring on it so that it has a hair trigger. So when you just look at it it slams shut.
