P-38 restoration project FS

Post by flayrah » Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:31 am

I have a Samantha Peyton I purchased about a year ago from a fellow board member who started to dis-assemble the plane for a custom. He decided not to continue the work, and I had a similar project in mind. But now my situation has changed and I won't be able to finish this girl, either. So I have the plane in dozens of parts; some are still in original factory bags; while other parts have started to be sanded and insignia removed. But nothing broken, cut, dremmeled etc. Be farily easy to re-assemble but needs to be painted unless you want a REALLY used and abused look. The rocket tubes are missing but other than that everything should be accounted for. I think I paid about $60; will sell for $50 shipped.
