I suppose once I actually find a Hetzer I will go Tman's route and rig up my own, but still, 21st should have included one.

First no figures and now no MGs??

I agree that it is disappointing 21C did not include the MG and shield, but I don't think it would be that big of a deal to fashion a reasonable facsimile using a spare FOV (or other) MG as Tman did, and some thin sheet styrene for the shield, then paint with a light OD green paint to get a reasonable match with the drab green of the model, you don't even need to camo pattern it if you don't want to, or you could add a couple of small splotches of earth brown or sand yellow for camo if you really want to get fancy. This should be pretty easy as customs/mods go. I don't have a good photo reference specifically for the Hetzer, but there appears to be an abundance of web based images of both the real vehicle and models, so these should be a good resource for anyone who wants to add their own MG and shield.

I noticed some 1:48 Marder IIIM's at WM today. pretty neat. Not for me but still. :P

For anyone (like me  ) who doesn't want to wait (or hope) for the Hetzer to show up at their local TRU or WM, Good Stuff To Go has a great price on the Hetzer at $18, buy two like I did and spread the shipping cost out. I've ordered all kinds of stuff from these guys, fast service and great prices, highly recommended.

Those of you in possession of the mid mounted gun Marder check this out. A possible error was pointed out to me today. See if this is correct. The seats behind the gun are modeled in both positions! They are deployed for use, but also folded back over the outside. I am told it should be either one position or the other. Is this an error or did the vehicle come with two sets of seats?

The Marder III only came with the one set of seats. Are they deployed wrong? Either way, I like the seats and they hold a couple of my sitting German figures nicely

I was wondering about that! Mine has them in both positions. I thought some poor bastard and to hang over the outside!

Oh, and while I'm here I will bitch that there is still no HETZERS HERE!!!!!

Ok, phew. Anyhow I've thought of sucking up my pride and just buying one from an online retailer but every time I have done that in the past I find one in the store soon after. So I will wait a bit more and bitch a bit more.
