Thanks TO!
There appears to be a .30 cal gunner with a new seated articulation. He didn't appear to have articulated arms so perhaps its more of a master than a near production model.
The head sculpts for one of the Germans in the dual packs looks stretched, almost like it is for a prone position.
Still wishing for British and Russian soldiers, but interesting none the less..

That 88 and Kingtiger look awesome! I'm still a little bummed that the S1 88 is going to be in DAK tan as opposed to the more standard gray paintscheme - and it may mean that I hold off on it - but nevertheless it is a super-detailed piece and will be a nice addition to my collection

Then maybe something we haven't yet seen. Also on Star Trek news, Playmates toys is once again getting the licence and I read that they are making some 3&3/4" figs for the new movie. Man I hope thats true. I would love to have some new trek figs in 1:18.

A part of me really doubts we will see pictures (or any physical evidence) of the 21st Century F4, Mig-21, or B-25. We MIGHT see one of them next year, but I suspect those programs have been cancelled or put on hold, since the reason for completing them seems to have gone away. I am encouraged to see actual display pieces for the King Tiger and 88--better than 6 months late than not at all!

These look great, thanks for the heads up. My only concern is the 88MM looks like it will be extremely fragile. Hopefully it will be very well packed.

all the details makes me think the 88 could suffer from quality control issues too.....hopefully not.
I will get one of the DAK scheme as the 88 and north africa are virtually synonymous... and hold off for the grey scheme to get the other 5 i plan on.
as far as the playmate figures: i heard they were to be 6 inch, not 3 3/4.....hope you're right tosborne....it'd be fun to get 1/18 trek figures.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Got back a little while ago and am having a helluva time trying to get the photos to Zach - all issues on my end. They are going, but slowly.
As you guys can see from the figures.com pics the 88mm was in full effect. The level of detail is ridiculous. It was a show-stopper, literally.
The US machine gunner was my fav new figure. He was not just a proto - his static arms allowed for the correct firing position.
And yes, that German's head will allow for prone position.
The KT is a beast - a whole lot of plastic.
I am not too up on the smaller scale stuff so I will just send the pics to Zach and let you guys figure it out. I will post what I remember over on that side of the board.

The Tiger II is great. The only question is were will they sell em and how many do I want? 3 of each series is a good start.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller
