Dont Forget Valentines Day
Hello All,
Friendly word of advice. Make sure to carve out some of your hobby budget and buy the misses something nice for tomorrow. I can assure you that your better half will remember anytime you fail to acknowledge them on Valentines Day, which will only come back and haunt you when you want to make your next military-related purchase. I've been married 30 years and I can tell you its like buying a life insurance policy for yourself, unless you're prepared to sleep with one eye open for the balance of the year.

Thanks for the reminder Lightning; we already had this conversation at work today and there were some worried faces!
Luckily I am very married and well trained to boot. I have had the card/gift/plans procured for three weeks! Even if I don't get airplanes or tanks from my better half she may overlook my next purchase.
Great tip: buy flowers once a month "just because." That way when you are in the dog house you can bring them home and she can't call you out on trying to buy your way back into her good graces!

Thanks AS. I was on vacation and had some spare time! I am hoping they don't offend anyone as "Nip" is historically accurate but isn't necessarily flattering now a days. I am hoping everyone understands the root word is "Nipponese" which is not too bad. Now that I think about it, should I word-smith this? Feedback please...AlloySkull wrote:Oli, I love your sig pics.

luckly I had about a dozen 1:144 panthers for .50 each take home too - not for my wife......
