With days to go before the start of the American International Toy Fair, Unimax decided it was high time to flood their dry dock and christen the first ship in the Forces of Valor navy. Expected to ship sometime in August, the Battleship Bismarck will serve as the cornerstone for their new warship series, which is being produced in 1:1000 scale. Made entirely of plastic with loads of moving parts, the ship is being designed with both the collector and wargamer in mind, since it will be offered as a waterline miniature instead of a full draught replica. Priced at just $29.99 (pre-order price of only $26.99), we expect these ships to do very well at retail and believe more surface combatants arent far behind....[posted 2/12/2008]

Unimax Pumps Up the R/C and Pumps Out More Armor
Besides offering their first warship replica, Unimax is getting into the "upscale" 1:24 R/C market, which will boast both a Tiger I heavy tank and an M4 Sherman medium tank. Available separately for $59.99, these new radio-controlled tanks will feature infra-red targeting capabilities, just like their smaller 1:72 scale cousins.
A number of new repaints are also being rolled out for 2008, among them new schemes for their Sd. Kfz. 7 prime mover, Zundapp motorcycle, 88mm Flak gun and Kubelwagen. Strangely absent from the list was a second version of the M26 Pershing heavy tank and British Challenger, although a bevy of repaints are being made for their 1:72 scale vehicles and aircraft. We hope to post everything shortly so that you can submit your pre-orders before the weekend....[posted 2/12/2008]

Thanks for the heads up lightning.
88 and the prime mover new paint schemes sure sound good. Where can I find info about there 1:72 scale RC tanks I thought they never made them? Still I wish FOV would have made some newer armor then doing repaints but at least will be getting that Elefant.

Repaints
Hi,
We've been posting the images to our site. Keep in mind that these are currently being taken from their newest brochure, so size and clarity leave something to be desired. I'm taking a break now to play some Yahtzee with the family, but I should have the remaining items up (1:72 scale and aircraft) up by tomorrow. We even posted a pix of their upcoming 1:16 scale Sherman and 1:48 scale UH-1D Huey.
On a side note, no mention was made of their 1:18 scale line, so I can only assume that its still going to be an exclusive for Target, at least for the moment. If sales there are strong, I think its a matter of time before they beef up the line and offer them up for general sale.

FoV - 2008
Sounds like some good stuff. Still waiting impatiently for that CCKW! I've got plans for several of those 6X6s. Good to hear that FoV has plans and are trying to carry them out.
