I saw where BadCat will have them in by the 15th of February - essentially in two weeks
That is the Hertzer along with the early version of the Marder III. That's much faster than they will arrive at any of my local TRUs, if the distribution system maintains its current rate of speed!

Yes, went ahead and ordered the Hetzer and Marder III from BC. Just too hard to find if you live in the wilds of Texas. Closest WM is 22 miles away. If I leave from there, the next one is nearly 40 more miles. Too much gas and time if they don't have them. In my case its cheaper to pay $25 each (includes shipping) and be done with it.
Could be worse, dude. There are probably eight Walmarts and five TRUs within 22 miles of me (actually probably more). The Walmarts almost never have ANYTHING on the shelves. The TRU's are better but you still get stores with nothing, or twenty JagdTigers.hotrodrock wrote: Closest WM is 22 miles away. If I leave from there, the next one is nearly 40 more miles. [+] > Yeah , there are stacks of these Jagdtigers @ every TRU I go to around here and can't wait till they get rid of them because these are preventing anything new from coming in.

I can certainly sympathize with your dilemma there, that's for sure. I am very fortunate that one of the two TRU stores I frequent is only a 10 minute detour on my route home from work every day, so it doesn't take much of an excuse for me to check it out once a week to see what they've got. As for WM, it's a non-issue, none of the wallys around here have had much of anything new whatsoever for many months now, and I don't even bother to check WM these days unless I just happen to be in the store on some mission for the wife or kids.Closest WM is 22 miles away. If I leave from there, the next one is nearly 40 more miles. Too much gas and time if they don't have them. In my case its cheaper to pay $25 each (includes shipping) and be done with it.

I too am thinking of just buying through BCA. I enjoy looking for these things but since I have a Volvo which needs to go in the shop I have been driving our '89 Chevy Surburban while my wife has my SUV. I spend more on a scouting mission in gas than I would just ordering something on-line. Sometimes the sight of packages at the front door surpasses the excitement of finding them in the store. It is harder to hide these from the wife though, plus the lost brownie points for my ability to peel myself off the couch to run "errands for her!"

Totally agreed! I went crazy looking for the initial release of the Panzer 38 and Marder IIIM. Now, while my town isn't all that big, things are spread out and to hit the two TRUs used up alot of gas - in part as they are on the extreme east and west ends of my area. It gets tiring after a while, not to mention being a waste of gas. Besides, if Badcat's delivery estimates are accurate, the Hertzer and Marder will ship to me from there long before they show up at TRU. In this case, for me, its a win-win situationolifant wrote:I too am thinking of just buying through BCA. Other times, however, its a different story. For example, look how long it took the Corsair/Zero, Stuka/Macchi, and P-51B/ME-262 Dogfight packs to get to the small retailers...
