Really... well, I had no idea. These are a super nice model IMO, I have a couple put away somewhere. Were these ever offered in action grade..? I don't recall ever seeing one at Target or TRU around here, and I got all of mine via the internet.FoV's rarest tank...Apparently The M-26 Pershing # 80016 "Enthusiast Series
I think they are only truly rare if you are just desperate to get your hands on one. I would not be surprised to see FOV issue this model again in a slightly different version.
I was thinking that too Mitch, but I dont think FOV has a Korean war line do they..?? The only paintscheme I'm aware of for the FOV Pershing is the "Battle of Germany 1945" scheme, so maybe if there is a re-issue at all it will be the same version...how many different paint-schemes could they possibly do besides that Korean War version
That's kind of what I figured, and explains why FOV offers neither a Korean war or Vietnam era line of products. Thanks for your input Lightning, it's nice to have someone in the industry to shed some light on this and other questions we as collectors have.WWII-era replicas sell the best, followed by modern era, then Cold War, then Vietnam, then Korea
