Question for those in the know: Sealed 21st Century Fig Case

Post by WGP Klaus » Wed Mar 23, 2005 6:19 am

I'm in the process of going to purchase (provided everything is on the up and up) a sealed case of 'Nam 1:18 and 1st Series figs and would like to know if anyone out there is familiar with the Assortment and whether or not 21st uses typical celo tape or is it tape embossed with the 21st name/logo? I've dealt with sealed cases of Sports cards and some other collectibles, and know that some manuf. don't use tape with company name or logo printed on it, so anyone can open it, and cherry pic then seal with off the shelf cello tape.

If anyone can be of assistance, either post here or email me at P8ntguns4sale@aol.com

I've never purchased a sealed case, but I did purchase two just opened cases of both the first series, and Vietnam, at TrU. The clerk gave me the just-opened boxes to put the figures back into, and the boxes were sealed wth plain cello tape. In fact, the boxes themselves were just printed with "21st Centry Toys figure assortment", no indication of what was inside except for some stock numbers.

I bought a case of each years ago, too. Plain tape. The short packs in the Vietnam case were 1 African American Grenadier & 1 Platoon Leader as I recall.
