Why isn't it firing?
Why did he just stab me?
Why does my stomach hurt?
What is this red stuff?
You could have just shot me!"

"I'd be wasting bullets on you!"

So I guess I'm the only person who is actually considering these? I play more with modern stuff, and am working on an Iraqi market scene. I though these might be good to have. What I have a hard time finding are unarmer people, people to be civilians...

If you get these guys, you have to promise to take pictures of them and post them on the board. Cause we have fun making up *Secret* lives for the little guys.

Were you going to modify them by removing the weapons?

Yes, like number two is named Josef "Scarf Face" Al' Qareim

He was captured in battle and had his facial hair permanantly removed. Embarassed without his manly mane, he hides behind the lies of his facial covering and lives a tortured life. His wife, on the other hand, was gifted with an excessive amount of facial hair. So he battles daily to forget his woes.

His weapon of choice is the rock, though when faced against guns, he chooses the RPG launcher. Gaining noteriety for racking up the most kills against camel-mounted 150mm cannons with a rock like object, he is sure to go down in history as a man with nuts of steel, or rock, as he would prefer, if he ever needed a back up weapon.

I wasn't quite sure how to use them yet. One thing I like is that while they have weapons, they're not really shooting them, or even holding them in a threatening manner (for the most part). They could well be armed men in a marketplace setting, sure they're holding assault rifles, but that's far more common there than it is here.

On the other hand, your idea of modifying them could prove to be handy as well. Several of them could easily be choosing fruit.

Dang it, now ideas are beginning to form, and I'll have to search these guys out and buy them. Great. Just great. And I was all happy with my 1:32 Japanese civilians and accessories, now this. I hope you're all happy...

Yeah, I'm pretty peachy. :D

Great ideas though! You're right, a lot of times over there guys will carry guns around and noone thinks much of it.

Here you carry a gun it starts Lawsuit War III.

Guns

Post by ltcbj » Fri Jan 04, 2008 7:03 am

Those are some of the dumbest looking guns I've ever seen. With guns like that their little jihad isn't going to make it out of the hog farm. They need to check with their armorer before they attempt to mix it up with Conte, 21stC or FoV troopers.

accurate?

schizuki: I don't believe that the word "accurate" or any of its derivatives and arab gun toters really belong in the same sentence.

Exactly. :) Give me a decent 30-06, or if I'm feeling really ballsy a .50 sniper rifle, and I'll spend weeks picking 'em off from the outskirts of town. :) Couple hand grenades too, and a .45 sidearm. I want to be a sniper, but I can't even join the military because I have Tourette's syndrome. God I'd rather die in battle than battle boredom. I don't even think I could be a police sniper, but I'm sure if I wasn't laden with problems they'd take me as a sniper.

Of course if they just have things to celebrate they will fire all their ammunition into the air and eventually wipe themselves out in the resultant rain of bullets.
