I've been keeping an eye on this Playmobil aircraft all Christmas. I've wanted a general aviation plane to ferry people around in, and this one seemed like with a little work, that it would suit my purpose.
Really, it didn't take much to make it work. Needed to repaint the fuselage because of the funky logo on the nose. Inside, I had to cut out spaces for the pilots legs to extend in the cockpit and the middle three seats for 1/18 scale passengers to fit. Otherwise, I think it makes a passable private plane for hauling VIPs around. The only thing I want to go back and redo are those garish yellow wheels.
Hopefully, I can find a few more. My kids already have their eyes on this plane, and they're getting sneakier about confiscating my toys.

Thats really cool. If you add winglets to the tips it could sorta pass for a Gulfstream C37B. I think the Marines use those for VIP transport. Nice work 
The Playmobile Jet is a very nice plane, even in its unaltered condition. I don't own one, but my younger brother has a couple of them. The detailed cockpit, interior, and luggage bay (plus the cool opening door) make it a winner. Could have used retractable landing gear, though
