Dragon just announced the P-47 Thunderbolt ('Jug') piloted by Glenn Eagleston - looks pretty darn nice. The eagle near the engine cowling 'humbles' that monochrome decal that the Franklin Mint/Armour used on their 1/48th scale reproduction.

That Glenn Eagleston P-47 sure seems to be popular! There is the Corgi version, the Matchbox version, now the Dragon version, the Fanklin Mint version, the 1:18 21c version and soon to be the 1:32 21c version! Can't blame the companies for wanting to produce it though. With the siver wings and fuselage, the yellow cowling with cross bones and the eagle, it's a pretty impressive-looking aircraft!
