I have five, count 'em, FIVE 1:18 scale aircraft. I will never ever catch up unless I work 40 hours a week every week, and at 8.25 an hour, let's do some math... (grabs calculator) $330 a week, minus taxes, which would be like $30 bucks for me, so let's say $300 a week... I'd still be working my ass of for every plane. I work in seafood, and it's fairly hard work, especially because I close. I can empty a huge 30 foot case of seafood in 30 minutes.
Sooo... I really want an F-16. I'm trying to keep my 1:18 costs down by collecting the smallest of 1:18 categories, post-ww2 aircraft.
Mainly jets. I want a frickin' German Starfighter... so bad, and the German Sabre. I had the chance to buy one at the Wings Over Houston airshow for 25 bucks, flat... I was die hard 1:32 at the time, and Jason (of Admiral Toys) had two planes I was dying for... the Red 3 Fw-190 and the night fighter Me-109E. O.o If only I had had a job then!
The only two aircraft I have that are WWII in 1:18 are the Pearl Harbor P-40 and the very first 109E, I got it when it first came out, and I was a kid, and I have always loved the 109E better than any, besides the 109D. But that will never be a pre-built model.

That picture on militarytoyshop.com is not of a bbi f-16. That is an actual f-16. Look at the leading edge slats, wings, and landing gear. These features aren't on bbi's model. However, I do have a bbi thunderbird. I posted these pictures earlier. If you haven't seen them, the link is below.

If I'm not mistaken, Somkey1's pics are of aPanther F wrote:Thanks for the teaser pics! So, it's been out for awhile then, huh? I've always liked the Thunderbirds over the Blue Angels.

Meanwhile, in San Leandro, Ca, Pappy Boyington is still missing his ground crew... Just sayin'

That's correct! I grew up in Vegas, the home of the Thunderbirds(Nellis AFB), so when bbi came out with the f-16 I wanted one in the thunderbird scheme. Since bbi was taking to long, I figured out another way and had Jack paint this one up for me. I will be getting a couple bbi t-birds though.
