If you push the barrel forward with your right index finger and pull the barrel with your left hand, you'll do fine- if you don't brake it.
What are the stamped numbers on the bottom hull- looks like 151007 on both so I'd say thay are not serial numbered.

Thanks for the commentary on the barrel gents. I too think the Marder is great, and I'm really not all that concerned about the barrel being a bit short, I might fiddle around with it and see if I can push it out some. The main thing is, I DON'T want to break it.
