Thanks Skull, itll be at least six months before I can really finish it (deployment), weathering and a few more small areas of paint. I wish i couldve made the Longbow but no time and a hectic schedule make johnny a dull boy.

That's a shame man, too bad. Making us wait that long!

I'm guessing you're Navy? My brother-in-law is in the Navy. He's being re-deployed as well. He's attached to the USS Nimitz, I believe. He does maitenence on weapons systems and such on F/A-18s. We go to go to his hangar in Norfolk and got closer than most people ever get to aircraft. Like, under them, and learned stuff. Too bad I couldn't take pics, it'd have made a hell of a walkaround!

with the BBI Apaches going for so cheap these days at Target, maybe you should buy another one and tuck it away for a time when you can make a Longbow out of it.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Great Job on the Desert Tan Man! I kinda did the same thing 'bout' stocking extra helos (blackhawks) cuz you cant pass them up. Have you had much luck finding 1/32 or suitable decals online or at local stores?
