Conflic (Pocketbond) 1/72 range

Post by Obi2kenobi » Wed Dec 26, 2007 12:31 am

Does anyone here own any of the Conflix prepainted fortifications? I'm interested in opinions before making a purchase. Someone on another forum said they are scaled way to small for 1/72.

Thanks

I have all of the Conflix 1:72 line as well as a few of 22-28mm line, like the Tavern and Guildmasters house, they are all very nice in my opinion, I highly recommend them. As far as scale issues go, I haven't heard any complaints about this specifically, and my Conflix stuff all seems to be just fine scale-wise with my Dragon, FOV, and other 1:72 armor and figures etc. If you are concerned about it, you might want to buy one piece and see how it fits with your models and figures before buying more. You can sometimes get good deals on Conflix stuff on ebay, or try the Michigan Toy Soldiers site.

Hmmm...that's a tough one... I suppose it depends on what you are gonna use it for. A couple of my favorites are the "ruined house" and "ruined villa", both these have a removable 2nd floor piece which is kind of a nice feature in my opinion. The "command post w/roof" is also very nice. Some pics here...

I have all the fortifications. Some are specifically labled as being for 1/72. the others are made for 15mm. I think its just a couple of houses that are 1/72 and they say of the box if I remember correctly. I use both scales so I bought them all. the 15mm forts like the ammo dump and gun emplacement could work for 1/72 and out of the bunkers, the pillbox could work but the machine gun barrow thingee might be a little small. If you are forgiving, you could use any of them for either scale. I don't use the 1/72nd buildings for 15mm though, as I have plenty of 15mm bldgs as it is and they seem really too big, but in a pinch they could be used as a mansion or something. It's really just the doors and windows that give away the scales on those.

Hope this helps.
