Corgi 1/32 Mosquito retail price?

Post by olifant » Mon Dec 24, 2007 9:40 am

Can anyone tell me what the original retail price is for a Corgi 1/32 Mosquito? I want to pick one up but all the e-tailers are sold out and e-bay ones go for big bucks. I don't mind waiting for a new scheme re-release but know they will be pretty expensive anyway. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

You can pick them up in the UK for £60.00
Think they were £100.00 R.R.P
I've got all three

I saw one at my local Hobbytown USA store a couple years ago that retailed for around $120. Given uksubs' price of £60.00 for the UK, the Hobbytown price would seem correct.

I have seen them go for as little as $50-$60 on ebay before, not counting shipping.

I have the AA34601 Mosquito B.Mk.XVI "Moncton Express III" and it cost me about $100 on sale.. I think they typically retail about $120-$149 and that is "IF" you can find them.. There is a seller on Ebay that has them for sale occasionally..

If you want to see what Corgi produced in the 1/32 Mossie, here is a link to the "Corgi Bible"..

Weak stand

Post by bboc » Mon Dec 24, 2007 9:22 pm

Wasn't this the one that had the stand that would fail and let the airplane fall to the shelf or slide off onto the floor?

Thanks for the info guys. Great link hworth! I have been looking on e-bay but most of them seem to be going for $100+ with the shipping sometimes $30-40. Too rich for me right now. I will wait for a bargain to fall in my lap.

I've not had any problems with the Mosquito stand

The He-111 was the plane that had a tendancy to nose dive from its stand..
