FOV 1/16 wittman final ride
who has one?????

From what I have been told this is the best of their 1:16 line up, I had to get one myself. Since I missed out on the first tiger 1 and both king tigers.

I have the first issue Wittman tiger. They say it is the same as the second issue I think the figs are a little different. I do not have the second isssue. I thought that getting it could be a little redundant. Conssidering the price for these things.

VMF

Have both and each is unique in its own way. I did a review on the BadCat site on 007, and here is a bit from that.

“Final Battle” Tiger 1 is more than just a repaint of #222 Wittmann Villers Bocage Tiger 1.

The top deck and rear have been completely retooled and molded to capture all the detail of a Late Production Command Version Tiger 1, complete with the FuG 8 “crow’s foot” star aerial, spare star antenna tube on the rear, and even the extension rod holder on the right side of the hull.

Also added to this release is the spare antenna tube on the right side that was missing from the #222 Villers Bocage version.

The figures are really worth it and I was told by FOV/Unimax that unlike the Piper figures from the 1/16 KT, the Wittmann crew will not be released separately .

funny that Wittmann lost it in 007 as he hated command Tigers because of the deleated coax MG and decreased ammo on board so more radio gear could be crammed in the turret
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

I'm seriously thinking about this one. It's a great looking tank, better looking than Tiger 222...but God...I'm literally sick of Wittmann and the SS 501st.

Toy/model companies seemed to forget that not all German soldiers were SS. And not all of them are Wittmann :?

There were so many panzer aces that deserved some notice too.

But...it's a Befehls Tiger....oooh...the temptation.

I concur, having all the 1:16 issued FOV German Tigers, this is by far (IMHO) the best of the bunch, you can't go wrong!
