My buddy's pictures... I'm lovin' the figures myself. The green on the U.S. is odd, and the shoulder joint of the one German looks a little off, but I'm hoping they're just early painted proto's and we'll see the final figures soon.

As soon as I figure out how to get better shots without glare, I'll post em.. I don't know how to watermark either.

Another day, another Target. Nothing yet down here :(
But I did buy a handful of the FOV modern troops for the eventual head swapping with the FOV WWII guys :) Then I could have modern FOV guys with WWII heads to swap, sell or trade :P Loads of fun this hobby will be 8) Da General

Eh..... It sure looks pretty toyish to me compared to 21st's Tiger. I guess I was hoping for too much. For the money, it's a good deal, but to a 1:18 jaded soul like myself, it's a passer....

The figures have promise, though, hehehe...

I couldn't agree more! My 21c Tiger in the eastern front cammo just looks sharp and outdoes the FOV version by a long shot. Then again, 21c did spoil us way back when

Found 1 sole Tiger at the local Target in my AO, ski is right it is very toyish but not too awful bad, I still like it and for $30 what the heck. Also picked up the new tiger mouth Apache and new Blackhawk, again only one of each of those as well.

Thank Big Iron, not me, haha... They're his.

He's a good friend though so I was happy to pass them on from the other FOV thread out in the non-sticky area.

I'm pretty happy with the new Tiger... Perfect? No... But for $30, I can make it perfect quite easily myself. ;) I'm sort of taking the same approach with the figures, but I'll wait till I see them before passing judgment. The modern guys were more than enough to buy that kind of respect to FOV, so I bet the WW2 look even better in person.

The gear they have already has me giddy... I mean, bandoleirs, sachels, maps/papers, and it's nice seeing some Germans iwth something other than k98 pouches and stuff. And p-schrek too? Been a while since we saw that with a basic figure, eh? Not to mention an MG-42, which hasn't been out since S1 actually... So I'm ecstatic at all the gear.

I think with some dirtying up, a little love and care, that the Tiger I's gonna be quite sharp looking... The tan repaint on the box might make for a decent DAK perhaps. Something to again touch up on our own and put the DAK figures around...

And the price locks it. $30 is something I spend easily on figures most of the time, so a nice tank ain't hurting me. ;) Even for $30 you wouldn't mind buying one to customize as a burned out piece on a Normandy street... Nobody's going to butcher a $50 21st one for that, but $30 FOV we will. :D

I wish both companies would get their crap together though and start back to doing interiors. That's the key to the tank king in the hobby. Whoever does interiors, wins.

Checked 2 Targets in my AO and no luck on the new FOV Tiger or even a hint that the new FOV WWII figs were coming.

Strange thing though, I found LAVs for 12.48 at one target (and a busted up M1 someone had returned) I also found some LAVs at another Target for 17.48. You would thing both Targets would have discounted them the same price...

Target doesn't use SKU numbers, theirs are DPCI's. The number on the left for the tank there is the DPCI for it (starts with 087-06-XXXX). This is a boy's toys number as the DPCI's for other action figures start with 087.... etc.

You can look 'em up on their scanner machines in the store, if the buttons are still functional.

No Tigers yet in my area. I'd like to see it, but can wait it out. Besides, I'm more concerned about finding a few 1:32 armor releases at another major retailer than I am the FOV Tiger...

If you guys call the guest Dept. at Target and get them to locate the tiger number they will look it up for you and see what Target in your local has it.

The Target at Manhatan Blvd. had 6 of them this morning. By the time I got over there they only had 2 left. I jumped on those.

Opened up the Tiger and it is nice!!!
The 2 turret hatches open (the commander hatch twists and swings to the side).
The 21st Century Tiger is more detailed, but for the money the FOV Tiger has a lot going for it.
I can do a side by side photos later on tonight.

My instant observations from the pics..
The Gun Mantlet is wrong on the FOV Tiger.. The single hole for the rangefinder was only on VERY late Tiger I's.. This Tiger should have had the twin holes for the rangefinder.. Also, on the Mid-production Tiger I, the headlight was not mounted in the middle as on Late Tigers, it had two headlights mounted on the top plate at the front corners.. The running gear is more accurate on the 21st Tiger, but the Drive sprockets and tracks are wrong.. It is nice to see FOV finally getting the drive sprocket/tracks correct on their version, however, the running gear is wrong..

I guess you could take both Tigers and make one reasonably accurate Tiger (almost).. :?
