well, after some deliberation i finally took the plunge and bought the 1/16 T-34. If i like it i'll be getting a bunch more in time; both t34/85's and t34/76's. Plan to make winter versions of both, a berlin version t34/85 with bedspring armour etc etc. :D

You will be happy with it. when you get it you need to separate the upper and lower hull so you can unlock the drivers hatch from the inside.
This is where you can get the su85 and 100 conversion kits from.
http://www.imperial-modellbau.de/shop/index2.htm I just finished an SU85.

If you can live with the size difference not being that much, it opens all kinds of doors. A while back Centone painted up a 1/16 Highway 61 truck to use with his 1/18 troops. He put pics on his site showing a 1/18 driver in the cab, it doesn't look bad at all, especially since we have no big cargo truck.

I forgot to mention I took the plunge for a Pershing in 1/16 a while back and I'm happy with that.

I see the 1/16 t-34 has been reissued in white winter camo. Price should come down in time..

Where'd you get it from? They look nice from the pics above.
