This is up on evilbay, a Texaco Grumman Goose that is being sold as 1/32. Is anyone familiar with these? If so, is this true 1/32 scale? This would be great to repaint as a custom.

Ertl is a pretty well known toy/model maker, it should be relatively easy to track it down using the Ertl part number he listed in the auction. Planes aren't my primary gig, did the Grumman Goose have a military counterpart??

Thanks for the information guys. Unfortunately this works out to just a little under 1/48 scale. If anyone is interested the on line prices seem to be between $50 and $200. I've enclosed a link for what appears to be the least expensive offering both commercial and military paint schemes.
