2 are custom 1/18 and 2 are made by Matorro r/c series, but are 1/16, but still fit in nicely with 1/18, after all they were a big machine and they look fine against my 1/18. you will find photos of both 1/18 and 1/16 in customs under "kurts kamera korner".
Here are a few pictures of some of the items I painted and modified for the 1/18 part of the diorama contest,1/18 mini champs kubel type 82 with balloon tires and modified 21st century Afrikakorps officer and a captured and repainted and modified U.S. halftrack, will post more soon!thanks for looking.

What type of gun are you using??? I love to paint my stuff but am a real beginner and it shows.
I bought a spray gun, a testors cheapie and it didnt do me any favors. I use tamiya cans or masters for a base and hand paint the patterns, from a distance ok?? Would love to be able to do what you do? They look fricking awesome. I would paint all my German stuff in a heart beat, I hate that they dont match at all in pattern or color, love the uniform look?
Your paint jobs leave my jaw on the floor! I am so jealous!

Thanks to all and glad you like my work, grunt1, yes I will list a lot of tips on how I do my painting on vechicles and figures,I will be away until the 9th of december, but will post some soon after that, jrs. I use an iwata hp-cs airbrush,on vechicles and tanks I use tamiya paints thinned with isoproyl alcohol, usally 70%paint,30% alcohol, when i use acrylic polly scale, testors or model master i thin them with distilled water, buy the cheap stuff at wall mart,do not use tap water,it has chemicals and minerals that will make a difference,i will list more when i get back, thanks again,Ken.

figure painting
Hello there, First off your paint jobs are top shelf. My question is about the paint you use on figures. They look amazing and they don't pick up the shine from lighting. If you haven't seen the animation on page 5 of this thread, I have been working on animations now for a while but I would like my figures to have those nice flat paint jobs. What paints are you using on the figures? My next big project is going to be the North Africa campaign so I have a lot of work ahead as far as figure painting goes. I really appreciate your work.

figure paints
Thanks again guys for the nice words,as far as figure painting goes I use acrylic paints,90% of the time VALLEJO, and some ANDREA and CITADEL,they are super flat acrylics with great gripping, thinned with distilled water, never tap!!! applied with brush, you must shake the bottles vigorously, always wash your figures before painting,I just put a drop of dish soap in large bowl or sink of water and use an old tooth brush and gently srub them, rinse in water and wipe them off,I apply the basecoat with a sable brush, usally a #2,when i return on dec. 9th i will sugest the colors to use, wifes calling, got to go,thanks for looking,Ken.
