Hehehehehe.... I talked to him about this very subject. If 21st does the gear right, I will be more than happy to shell out the cash!!!

I think you have found Mr. Sutherland's secret lair... Don't give it away too quickly that you're an excited XD fan as we don't want him to stay silent and not pass out any more secrets. Keep us posted!

I have Mr. Sutherlands email addy and have yet to get any info from him about the new tool P-51D so it must be a BIG secret on what this Mustang will be like. If he's going to websites asking about the features of a P-51 then 21st is going the extra mile to make it one of a kind thats for sure. The only thing I'm hopeing for is that they put a good paint scheme on it featuring a popular Ace of the 8th AF and NOT what the photos show of it at the Toy Fair.

Didn't hear anything back from that post....but as everyone has stated, this does show that they are going the extra mile to get it right. To me, that's impressive and it shows they really care about us, the collectors and such, because if it's just a toy plane, that kind of stuff doesn't matter.

I'd actually be happy if they release it in the scheme shown, The Flying Undertaker. It's a PTO bird, about time they get some respect!! Just kidding, but everything is always 8th AF, there were a lot of other ones out there fighting just as hard and just as important. I have a feeling though that we'll see some usual paint schemes as well, like a 357th FG Old Crow or something.
