Dragon 1 18 figures

Post by General Blasto » Thu Nov 08, 2007 5:54 am

Other than Wittman and Piper, did Dragon make anymore German figures other than the Soldiers(ie enlisted men - 1944 East Prussian, etc). By this, I mean officiers, etc ??? Thanks, The General

They did however put out a Sgt. "Steiner" squad , in which I have in fact , and the head sculpt of "Steiner" was designed after the famous actor "James Coburn" that starred in the movie , now on DVD , CROSS OF IRON ! * 8)

Full list:

Germans

U.S.

The only truly rare bird is "Hans" Feldwebel. He's listed at the bottom of the Germans and was only given away to the fan club.

Wow, finding some of those might be tough :(
I know I got the Wiking figures, I guess I should start looking for the Arnhem ones next ;) Be nice to find the "rare" one  Maybe someday. The General

You can get one as cheap at $10 at buy.com, $30-$40 for a decent one.

Do you have a link to them somewhere online or something? I googled it and found nada..

* You can view a pic of him in "grunt1's" database here : http://www.sshqdb.com/coppermine/thumbn ... ?album=333

* I'm fortunate to have two of him. 8) ,.. but to me , there's nothing really special about him though , he just looks like an ordinary Wehrmacht figure.

...... ofcourse the Sgt. "Steiner" figure and or "squad" , are hard to find too. 8)

Dragon 1:18 figures ( ? )

Ok ,.. here's the scoop. This is the controversy surrounding these guys.

* The MDFC Members Only ( Not for Sale ) "Hans" Wehrmacht Infantry figure was introduced and available to members only back in 2001. * In which 2 , I still have , MIB.

* "Hans" is also an exact copy of their 1/6 figure.

* Sgt. "Steiner" is also an exact copy and supposed to represent their 1/6 Sgt. "Steiner" figure.

Now I can't remember if the 1:18 Sgt."Steiner" came w/ 4 other guys or not ,.. I only have two. They could've just been part of the "East Prussian" set.

At least I know what I'm talkin' about here.

Dunno if this is a good deal or not, but I picked up this set of 4 Dragon German Panzergrenadiers "Arnhem 44" for $27 delivered. I plan to use them as a crew for my my S2 camo Pak 40 gun. I'm no expert on figures, but I hear the Dragon 1:18 figures are very nice. 8)
