Tanks for the memories
Your breachblocks so black
And oodles of track
Here at Grafenwoehr it's so good to be back
Oh, tanks for the memories..

This paint scheme will be available through avaitornut along with most retailers since it is a Merrit exclusive. there will be other surprises from merrit next year.

Great news, I think it's safe to assume that the tactical F-18 in agressor markings, and perhaps a thunderbirds F-16 will be among these surprises... :D

I ordered my 2 from the hobby shop (pegasus) I think that they are a little cheaper here. They should be in this week or next. I have always wanted to get one from when I was a child. I always thought that they were cool. The V-1. I have several of the tiny turd like 1/48 scale V-1s. This IS a step in the right direction. Bring it on baby !! :D
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

I think I just might have to go for that V-1. Yes it doesn't have any figures or moving parts, but its a 1:18 model of a German V-weapon and it just looks too darn cool 8)

Too bad its still a Model 21 A6M2

Billed as a A6M3, It should have the Model 22 cowling.

Seems that would be an easy fix if they were on the ball.

I sent a email to MTS to see if they would accept a trade! I have two MIB green Zeros and I really like the new scheme, but I don't need another zero! 2 Green and 1 PH

I'm excited about seeing the Pegasus V-1 in person soon, and glad we've got another manufacturer making models in this scale.

Hopefully, the V-1 proportions are better than the Tamiya 1/48th scale model: on that example, the forward bulge area of the engine was too long and the vertical tail and forward engine "pedestal" were too tall. (From the available photos, the Pegasus model looks like it might have been designed using the same drawing. :( )

In any case, I will definitely be picking at least one of these up.

BadCat has both versions of the Pegasus V-1 in stock :D Included are pictures of the painted, preassembled version and also the unsassembled kit. It looks very sharp! I pre-ordered one (though no shipping notice as of yet) and should get it within the next few days to post a review
