Some slight mods, like the fuselage antennas and extra weathering.
Then I realized that Ira Kepford's Corsair didn't have those antennas, and had just the whip antenna instead. Also added a little detail on the cockpit. Not as good as BBI's...but eh.
Added some wirings for the antennas and stuff.
And I replaced the skinny tires with thick ones.

Very nice detailing work. It really makes your Kepford corsair stand out.

Fantastic work - looks far better than the redone 21c version - and light years ahead of the original

What did you do to lighten the top blue color? Was it a wash? I'm curious because I want to weather some of my planes. You've captured the dirty, dusty, faded paint look I would like to do.

Thanks for the compliments, fellas.

I used chalk pastels to lighten the dark blue color, then after sealing it, I used water color wash for streaks, oil marks, etc.

Man thats very nice! Too bad BBI wont re-paint their Corsairs in the markings of the famous VF-17 Corsairs. I would love to see markings for Hedrick and Blackburn or even Kepford. But again nice job.
