I've been thinking the same thing...of course, we could always wait for 21st to release a new Jug in RAF colors.... :D

Hi Longrifle,I customized this p47 several months ago.It was my first attempt with my new airbrush. The plane depicts an aircraft from #258 Squadron-Burma 1944.My source info was the book:Thunderbolt The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt in the Pacific Theater. The author is Ernest R Mcdowell. It is a Squadron /Signal publication.Good luck

Very professional. You blended the colors well, the decals look as though they've been painted, and you even highlighted the panel lines!

Thank you for the comments. The decals are 1/32 scale that I enlarged on my photo copier then put on decal paper. The RAF roundel in the Far East theater was pretty small as where the squadron codes for this unit so I did not have to blow the artwork up much. The camo was done freehand with my new Aztek airbrush.I gave the panel lines a black wash{maybe too much?}It takes a little practice but its worth it.I really enjoyed the project and also just finished a PRU Spitfire. Next up a the p47 bubble top.
