...and just for reference: The dio is 1/18 and portrays a small group of british women coming across a crash landed 110 in their fathers field. A member of the home guard has been posted on the scene (probably to stop souvenir hunters) and is taking the chance to look over the aircraft up close and personal.
"you get in a steep dive in this thing and you've got almost no maneuvarabilty at all. You couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the broad side of another barn"

Thanks jrs! Most of it's custom built, though part of the destroyed walls and one of the buildings is available in a regular range of 1/72 buildings and accessories.jrs. wrote:Tshintl, that village is sweet! The flak truck and Maultier are both 1:16 / 1:18 customs. I'm posting some "work in progress" shots and how-to's when the contest is over.
If you look at the bottom of my original post, there is a link to some other photos. Close ups and color shots if that helps. The 1:18 scale is more obvious in those pictures.

Scoring
Hi Guys,
Sorry for not monitoring the thread more closely. We've been busy of late, getting ready for a Soldier Show, setting up a sale, shipping and receiving, blah, blah, blah. Geoff called me today and I told him I'd review everything tonight and get back to him tomorrow. The other judges will then post the results.
The winners will need to PM me on this forum. I'll need your complete contact information so we can get out the prizes right away before the Xmas rush.
Once again, I apologize for the delay...
