1 18th guard dog houses

Another step closer to building my German camp Diorama, Guard dog houses :) I started out by using some small wooden bird houses I got at Michaels craft store. After removing the roof top trim and next the pirch peg by the hole, I traced a line up and around the hole to make the doorway for the shepards. Then I cut about 1/2" off of the bottom of the house, cut out the doorway and Wa La, I have a nice scale dog house ready for painting. I've done 3 tonight and have 3 or 5 left to do ;)

Also you can see the new look in my troops that I just made with the head transplants from the FOV figures, I like the new look 8) The General

Great idea with the bird houses! And it's an easy visit getting the wife to go in there! :D

Naw, it's even easier than that. My wife to be WORKS at Michaels, so I even get a discount on things there too :D 8) The General
