InToyz 1:18 Figures

Post by grunt1 » Wed Oct 17, 2007 7:25 am

Not sure how I missed these, but they are now in the database for those interested..

SWAT and Seals

WWII Germans

They had several other figures in the works, terrorists, bank robbers, etc.. but apparently went out of business before getting those done so what you see above is it as far as I know.

the intoyz figures were pretty much crap. Poor sculpts, lousy accessories etc.

Having said that they did make the only zeltbahn wearing germans available, aside from the cloth ones that some dragon figures had. The winter uniformed figures were the best ones, but 21c's are better. I have used some of intoyz german helmets as WWI style helmets because they look more like those than WWII helmets.

They did make a cool SR-25 and a pretty good M4 but it had no rail system. They were also articulated at the ankles. For a first round of figs, they weren't that bad.

I ran across a guy who just could not get enough of these Intoyz figures.
He traded me 21stC Vietnam guys for the Intoyz figures...

Some of the headsculpts were quite nice actually, while some were odd at best...

I wouldn't say all the accessories were that bad either, but some were lacking. I have the winter guy's torso here somewhere waiting to cobble it together with a 21st figure I think. Dunno if I'll ever get around to it.
