It'd be real nice to see the B-25, F-4, and MiG-21 first before another one become rumor though. Just a thought, that's all.

For those curious, the Special Edition Series means that it gets a custom box design that is built specifically for the product. No need to worry about it being exclusive or anything like that. -Just a fancy term for a fancy box to highlight a product.

looks like Bad Cat didn't waste anytime getting the Me-262 2 seater up for pre-order! I know this release is very close being that full production of the final product is already underway. With the KT tank and 88 and this 2 seater 262, its going to be a German Christmas this year!

Very nice looking bird :D I will most certainly be down for this version, that way I don't duplicate aircraft type. It is a very striking and unique paintscheme, especially when one considers all the subsequent "standard" German cammo patterns we have gotten on past aircraft releases. Can't wait to see it up for a preorder, or God forbid, at Wal Mart

I have a feeling this could be my new favorite 1:18 aircraft. Hope it comes with two figures.

Did the pilot sit in the front or rear seat in the ME262 night fighter?

Now the real question is...will it be at WM or TRU or neither? What we really need is a 'confirm' that WM will no longer carry 1/18 planes anymore!

Roger that on the 2 crew members! Last time I talked to 21st I was told that it will come with both the pilot and the Radar operator. More details and more photos will follow in the coming weeks. This plane is a high profile marketing push for 21st so we should get lots more details as it gets closer.

On that note: Later this week that cool nighfighter shot with the Mossie in the background will be available for download as a computer wallpaper. Something nice for us to look at as we await it's arrival!

Awesome looking bird...just preordered mine. Does anyone know if Badcat will throw in the "historically correct" tail decals??

I put the correct decals on my Me-262A from 21st! It looks AWESOME! I had an old set of decals left over that would normally go with the stuka. They fit nicely and really looks great!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. The nazi decals that I got with my ME-262 was made by 21st themselves! So those should be included, and should not really be counted as a "freebie". When did 21st started making these decals and including them with the planes? :)

they started doing that years ago but it was only with the planes bought from online retailers. WM planes didn't come with them. Some, less than honourable retailers try to sell them seperately.

I didn't realize 21C had been including the decals. Thats really cool, I have been in the hobby for almost 8 years and I still learn something new almost every day.
