Will we ever see the BBI F-16 at Target? I sure hope so.

Around here the helicopters have been cleaned out but there are plenty of figures and some land vehicles and armor. Where in the US is your friend going to be? Maybe someone in that area can give you a better answer.

Two Targets in Northern CA recently restocked the Apaches and Blackhawks. Haven't seen the LAV's for awhile now though.

I don't like how people are seeing the bbi troops warming pegs at Target. We were afraid of this when they released the same figs that were warming pegs at TRU for the last year..

What I have been noticing in the Targets I visit in Northern, CA are that the paras are sitting on the shelves but the rest of the figures seem to be selling.

Went to Toys R Us to replace my Corsair and found several boxes of Hellcats. Rang up at 44.99, however, Corsairs were all marked 39.99, so I got it for the lower price. Nice bird.

interesting news. The higher cost of the hellcat is no doubt due to higher oil costs and the lower us dollar.

It could also be higher due to the fact that it is a bit larger and heavier than the Corsair which would cost more to ship.

Agree.. I can appreciate the tooling issues that BBI had to deal with, but the newest figures were already tooled.. ?
Perhaps they are holding on to those as a 2nd wave?
Hasbro finally figured out that variety sells and look at their Star Wars line go. Scary to think how many million figures they've moved this year alone..
Same thing with the Hot Wheels gang..
On positive note, the Hellcats showed up here at TRU and one made it home.

Indeed, that was extremely fast for the Hellcat to be spotted at TRU. Guess I'll have to start making the rounds more often now.

Will the Tiger mouth Hellcat be showing up at TRU or will they just carry the one scheme?
Unfortunately no, According to Merit Inc. the Tiger mouth Hellcat is an Exclusive and will only be sold at certian hobby retailers/e-tailers. The production also limited to 2000 pieces.

Hey guys, been awhile since I popped into the boards. But unless someone's already mentioned this, I got an email notice from BigBadToyStore.com that they're Pre-Ordering more of the BBI "Black Death"OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters.
I'm posting the link here, but if it's inappropriate please feel free to remove it or notify me:
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail
I did a quick search on the web and sure enough another listing popped up on HobbiesHQ.com as Coming Soon:
http://hobbieshq.com/Merchant2/merchant ... =BBI-21624
And here as well:
http://www.wildcollections.zoovy.com/pr ... Death.html
I recall this was a tough Kiowa to track down, because they appeared one week at TRU then disappeared the next. At least, that's how it was in my area. Most of their other vehicles had enjoyed a longer shelflife and restock, so, having severely overestimated BBI's supply trend at the time I only picked one up at the store. Later on I had to "ebay" a second one for the collection.
Am I the last one to hear about this? I'm hoping these aren't the only places getting more of them in, especially since Target is being so good to us lately...
