I bought them at Walmart over a week ago..mikeg wrote:the're already on whose shelves? we still have all three me-262s, hellcats, and black tuliped nose fw-190s.

Yep the Zero is already out. It has been for about 2 weeks now. The Dauntless is not far behind at all. We should see those show up in another couple weeks. There will be at least 3 schemes for each. Some will come later than others obviously.
21st also tells me that more 1:144 planes are in the works.

odd annoucnments
...I still find it hard to understand 21cc method of publicising their 1/44?
SOme times they make a formal announcement with pictures etc, othertimes they jus let the items slip out quietly onto the shelves os WM and TRU etc.....
none the less, i applaud anyone who continues to bring out more 1/144.
has anyone found anywhere that stocks the complete range of 1/144 items online?
and, as other have said - anymore armour in the works?

Excellent! Thanks for the heads-up!Grognard wrote:The Zero made it to GA this week. Picked up one in Savannah. I found them in three of the five stores I checked. There's two versions in the box. One with a yellow fusalage band and one with a double white fusalage band.

I've just started collecting these airplanes. The Zero looks cool but I wish that the Dauntless had the rear canopy open with the MG sticking out. Recently I saw some new 1/144 tanks - Brummbar, Jagdpanther, and a Pnzr III. I didn't get to see the rest of what was in the box as my wife showed up with the new Heroscape Marro Master Set in her hands.

Back on topic - I have 2 of each of the Hellcats, Franks, FW-190s, and only 1 Mustang. These things seem to go fast at Wallys. I might use them for Fantasy Flight's WWII air combat game - have to buy it first though. A friend of mine has the complete set of WWI airplanes and all of their WWI air combat game modules. Fun!
