Will we see a 32nd scale P-38?
I hope we see a 32nd scale P-38. The Lightning would be a nice size in 32nd scale. Lots of great repaint here!

P-38 ( ? )
We'd better ! ... "Yes , I think so , for our sake and theirs".
I predicted this and the B-17 , as well as the Spitfire , 2-years ago when they started cranking out all these little planes they had already done in 1:18.

Why we haven't at this point is puzzling. 21c has replicated all the planes from their first two waves of XD in 1:32, save the P-38. Now that we have the B/C and D variants of the P-51 and will soon have both the FW-190D and A, we could certainly use the P-38
Add to that a Spitfire.

Add to that a Spitfire.

My guess is that the P-38 will be quite a bit larger than the single engine planes that have been done in 1/32. This will mean new packaging and most likely price point which most likely matters more to retailers than 21C.
My hope is one will be produced, which will then pave the way for other twin engine planes (Me-110, Mosquito, etc.) and we will reach 1/32 nivana!
What can we do to help? Make sure we buy 1/32 like mad from WM and keep the new product stream alive. It appears that 1/32 sells well from my personal observations and the fact we have seen so many releases from 21C over the last two years.
Lets keep the faith!
