1/18 Vietnam Figure Question

Post by vmf214 » Sat Sep 29, 2007 2:01 pm

I was at a small book store yesterday that also sells some vintage toys. I found a 21st 1/18 VC fig mint on the card for $2.50 so I went ahead and picked it up. Buying this one has got me a little interested in VN figs and went to look for some on ebay but nada....so apparantly these are hard to find??

thnx

The term "Hen's teeth" springs to mind..... They do spring up on eBay from time to time, but the price range appears to differ wildly, I've seen them go fo as little as U$10 each, but of course the ones I have bid on have all gone for over US$30, it seems to be just a matter of timing.

But at US$2.50 you sure got yourself a bargain there.

Definitely a bargain!! As far as the current 21c Vietnam stuff goes, you can find the 1:18 M-48 tanks at online retailers, in addition to the M151 Mutt with TOW launcher and Navy Seal Tactical Vehicle. Helos, figures, and the like are best found on ebay. I think the store www.smalljoes.com is still selling their Navy Seal vehicles for $7 which is a steal. The figure that comes with the vehicle is worth more than that price alone

Which Vietnam figure did you find?
The Vietcong or NVA seem to be harder to find the the US Vietnam figs.

Yes, you did get a bargin for 2.50 and zero shipping...
