AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHILDHOOD FLASHBACKS!!!!!
There is a lot of cool stuff out there that could be used, and some really scary figures. I know I've seen some British Action Man figures that may have potential, and I used to have a bunch of old Fisher Price people (that were used to make some of the original SW figure mock-ups). They had a few vehicles along with that line.

There's also some nice resin and white metal stuff coming out for 90mm model figures.
I saw a ship's swivel gun designed to go with a pirate figure, as well as some WWII russian weapons that will work with NVA / VC guys, and maybe even those "Eastern Warriors"
There's even some US/German WWII stuff...
Check out Squadron Models and search for 90mm...
