Band insturments for 1:18th scale

Post by General Blasto » Fri Sep 21, 2007 6:12 am

The thought came to me last night as I was opening up my set of Schultzstaffel figures that someday I should have band insturments as so to do a military band. My armies are well over 200 figures for either side and I thought some scenes in my movie clips might be nice to have a band playin', like at a decoration ceramony(sp?, still too early and not enough Java  ) Does anyone know or has bought 1:18th scale band insturments ??? If so, where do I find them ??? Thanks, Gen. Blasto

I found a bunch of instruments at a local Nursery of all places. During the winter they have a huge selection of christmas tree ornaments. they have an entire section of musical instruments ornaments in various sizes. They had Horns, string instruments, drums etc. I bought a little violin with a opening case that I thought would be the right size. It turned out a little big, si I used it as a cello. I remember seeing a tuba that would be about the right size. If you want me to look for you, let me know, they usually put up their Christmas stuff after Halloween.

Thanks dfoos,
I may take you up on that offer. I didn't think about Christmas display type stuff. My girlfriend works at Michaels, so they may have some things also.
