Post by General Blasto » Wed Sep 19, 2007 4:53 am

To round off my posting this morning before work, I will add a couple battlefield scene stills from my stop action movie clips I made :)

Those were from the video clip "Panzer Song"

I know somewhere I have the link to clips Panzer song and Alert ! posted on Yahoo(if they didn't remove them) If I can find the links, I'll post them. They are 2-3 minute long stop action photography(motion) with audio.

vidoe clip

Post by General Blasto » Wed Sep 19, 2007 5:08 am

I found one of the video clips on Yahoo, the other is missing :(
But if you want a good laugh, perhaps you may find one here.

http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid=664753

The resolution took a hit when uploaded, but if you look at the tanks during the song, the commanders are making hand signals to the music.

This was my first attempt at making a video clip.

Cool pics and nice setup! Now I know where all those 1:18 Panther tanks on ebay went  The smoke effects are neat as well!

Ah Darn, now the cat's outta the bag :o :P
If I would have just started collecting back in 2000, I wouldn't have had to pay TONS of cash for them either, but then again, when I built my custom P-2 4-8-2 for the railway, it cost me about $3000 too  Gen. Blasto

BTW, 2 more Panthers just showed up on my doorstep. Just remember,
it takes one Panther to make a Jadgpanther :?

Nice setup Blasto! Watch out for jabos though. They really like it when you park tanks close together. It looks like you were out there all day. How long did it take you to set all that up?

The battlefield scene

Post by General Blasto » Fri Sep 21, 2007 11:23 am

It's been awhile since I did that scene from the video clip.
The gravel is now gone and the backyard was tore up by workers for the ASSociation(I live in a condo complex run by nazis - worse then the Germans ever were  ) The gravel was where my G scale train used to sit. There was a whole small town there, now it's all packed up in boxs  BUT now I have the war machines, and before they re-sod(if they ever do, I will rip up the weeds that are growing back there now and you'll really see a cool battlefield :P I now also have alot more units for the field. I think I have 17 Panthers, 15 Tigers, 12 Hanomogs (of various types, 6 Kubelwagons and about 270 men. And that's just the German side  Yep, there'll be plenty of war video yet to come someday ;) General Blasto

The Shermans might as well pack up and go home! They would be like going into a den of ........ well.............ferce cats!!!
Now that would be sumptin to behold!
